2001 – Page 2 – BREAKFAST ARMADA

Lacking a camera, the majority of our regular crew and the slightest vestige of originality, Duck-boy and I took a familiar trip this weekend to Vancouver's own ultimate showcase of entirely unattainable women, The Cat's Meow. It had been a while since our last visit and we feel that the faithful readers are entitled to periodic updates to ensure that once a review is posted, proper follow ups are done, you know, to maintain the integrity of the site. Ok, fine, we were pretty much jonesing for an extended gander at some hot tail while we rode low in our couches and salaciously slurped our seven cups of coffee.

They started low. Really low. I'm not ashamed to admit that I went into the Frog & Firkin with a breakfast bias the size of a Hoegarden. But hey, go in with low expectations and there's a comfortable opportunity for improvement, right?

The Cat’s Meow

The Cat's Meow, usually reserved for mid-afternoon beer-swilling and ass-leering, welcomed us with open arms and tight pants to our inaugural Breakfast within it's couchy confines. While the crew and myself have made several prior visits to the Meow for drinks and more drinks, it never occurred to us until Sunday morning that the super-vixens employed there might actually serve breakfast as well. A quick call was placed and we were rapidly on our way to the place where dreams really do come true, and I don't mean your mom's house this time.
